Al had Parkinsons’s for 14 years. In the last year, he developed Dementia which, I understand, is a common progression from Parkinsons in its later stages.  He entered hospital about 2 weeks before he died and, having not really responded to hospital treatment, was transferred to a Care Home for palliative care, on the Saturday.  He survived at the Care Home for less than 24 hours, passing away just before breakfast time on Sunday 29th March.

He leaves Trish, his wife, and two married offspring; Ewan, living in Manchester and Lucy living in Deal.
